4 Must Have Items to Have in Your Sleep Training Arsenal
As you may already know, we are huge proponents of sleep training your little one as soon as possible. With that in mind, we have come up with a list of 4 essential items to have in your sleep training arsenal. (Please note: we do not get paid for recommending any of the items below – except for our satin fitted crib sheets, which we highly recommend during this journey😊)

1. “Twelve Hours' Sleep by Twelve Weeks Old: A Step-by-Step Plan for Baby Sleep Success” by Suzy Giordano – The absolute first thing you need to have in your baby sleep training arsenal is this book! This book came highly recommended to us by a close friend in our circle, so we figured we’d give it a try. This book was a game changer! It was so effective that it had our baby Zoe sleeping 12 hours a night by 9 weeks old! (I know… typical over-achievers). Now, I know that the standard school of thought on sleep training is to not start until baby is much older, but this book will eloquently make the case for why you need to start as early as possible. Sleep train your baby, protect your sanity. |

2. Nanit Pro Smart Baby Monitor – You will no doubt feel some anxiety when you begin the sleep training journey with your little one. Having a smart baby monitor, like Nanit, can help to put your mind a bit more at ease during the process. Nanit allows you to watch live video feed of your baby 24/7 on your phone from anywhere, which really comes in handy when you need to be away from baby (or when you simply just want to stare at them endlessly… oh, is that just me?) Also, Nanit is a baby monitor, nightlight and sound machine all in one, which will especially come in handy when developing your sleep training routine. |

3. Overnight Diapers are a must on your sleep training journey in order to protect baby’s skin while they are sleeping through the night. They are designed to be extra-absorbent and protect against leaks so that baby can sleep through the night without a diaper change. Your diaper brand of choice likely offers “nighttime” diapers (we were fans of the Pampers Swaddlers Overnights). |

4. Satin Fitted Crib Sheets – Last, but not least, we absolutely recommend adorning your baby’s crib with satin fitted crib sheets. During the sleep training journey babies tend to do a number of things to self-soothe while they are lying on their backs, including rhythmically moving their heads from side to side. Using satin fitted crib sheets uniquely protects baby’s delicate curls from breakage during the process and beyond! |
We hope you you found this information valuable! Happy sleep training!
With Love,
